Ben Mortiz is an Afro-descendant bassist, producer, sociologist, and Latin GRAMMY® Academy member whose sound fuses Afro-Latin rhythms with elements of Funk, Jazz, and House. Centered on the electric bass, his music is defined by virtuosity, dynamic expression, and cultural depth, offering a fresh and vibrant voice in today’s music scene.
Currently based in China, Mortiz works as a professional musician and Musical Director, performing and leading projects in major cities across the country, contributing to the dynamic Asian contemporary music landscape.
